There did not seem to be a guide for the Tar 21 so I decided to put one together since I am an avid Tar 21 User.
Outside Info
For those unaware, Tar 21 is short for Tavor Assault Rifle 21st Century
It is the standard issued weapon of the Givati Brigade (since August 2006) and Golani Brigade (since August 200

, with the Nahal Brigade receiving it by 2010.
The Tar 21 is a bullpup, closer to the FAMAS than the M4 or the Scar. Bullpup rifles are configured in a layout in which the bolt carrier group is placed behind the pistol grip; this shortens the overall length but does not sacrifice barrel length. The T.A.R. 21 provides carbine length, but rifle muzzle velocity.
...But no one really cares about any of that, so lets get in-game.

Pros and Cons
+ Its an AR. In MW2, thats a good thing.
- Its accuracy can waver a little. (By that I mean alot.) The accuracy isnt up and down, or left and right. It pulls to about 2 o'clock on the screen, or 10 o'clock if you have it set up left handed.
+ It has the highest fire rate among rifles that deal similar damage. (SCAR, AK)
- The MARS red dot sight takes some getting used to.
+ It does enough damage that stopping power is not an automatic 2nd perk.
Perks
Instead of listing what all the perks do, I'm gonna list how they'd be used, I'm only listing the best (read-my opinion) 3 perks of each category in my opinion.
Perk 1-
Slight of hand.
-Slight of hand brings reload time to 1.547
-Slight of hand pro makes ADS time .14
Scavenger.
-Does the same thing for the TAR as it does for any other weapon.
Bling Pro
-Does the same thing for the TAR as it does for any other weapon.
Perk 2-
Stopping Power, Cold Blooded and Lightweight
-Does the same thing for the TAR as it does for any other weapon.
Perk 3-
Ninja, Sitrep, and Commando
-Does the same thing for the TAR as it does for any other weapon.
Attachments-
All of the attachments work well for the TAR, except the ACOG and the Thermal because there are better guns at distance. Not saying it doesnt work because I do it from time to time, but it takes some getting used to. Cannot go full auto from distance.
