It seems like whenever you even try to rush, you're going to get your arse handed to you by some prick sitting behind a box and aiming down sight all game. So, because this has been a rant so far, we at least need a question. Is camping the only way to get good scores all the time?

if this guy or anyone else on this forum has to camp to get a decent score or even win in a PUBLIC match of all things u should just return ur disc.....

I LOVE campers that keep going back to the same spot all the time because you just wait for them and then kill them and then they COME BACK so you just kill them AGAIN

but i do hate the ones that i cant get to to kill lol specaily the noob tube campers with scav or OMA!

I have started camping lately... I'm trying to complete my AC-130 challenges in ground war. i've raise my KDR from 1.59 to 1.63 by basically camping.

To answer the question simply... yes. camping is a must in MW2. In COD4 and W@W I was a runner and gunner. Owned people that way. MW2 is a camp-fest. can't beat 'em, join 'em

So if Modern Warfare 2 somehow managed not to exist any more and we all went back to COD4, would you all rush again or would you continue to play in the campish mw2 style?

I don't see why people camp. If you really have to resort to camping to get a decent kill death ratio, screw the stats! It's a video game. Bragging about your monster K/D ratio is NEVER going to get you anywhere in life. Your wife/GF isn't going to care, your job interviewer isn't going to care, face it: no one cares about your kill death ratio. I'd much rather look back and say "wow I had a good time playing that game; it was a lot of fun" than looking back and saying "wow. that was the biggest waste of my life. All I did was sit in a corner and had no fun". Forget about getting a good k/d and camping, just play for fun!

cover your back with claymores, get a few kills and move on.

i really hate campers but when your 1 away from a good kill streak atleast you will know where to go and get your kill from...and for everyone crying about campers and how they hate them if you keep running in the same house and keep getting killed by the same guy turn off your game and go play another one b/c your terrible...and finally for everyone that camps for your KDR to go up please all of you stay in TDM so the rest of us that play the game its intended to played will have fun and not spawn and see half of our team in the same house with the intervention with 12 claymores saying how there pro players
