It still had 18 people though, anddd we gained experience as usual, so it wasn't a private match. The lobby stayed like this as well, once the match was done, it just switched over to the next map. Even if you skipped the map, it was still a 18 person free for all.

All i wanted to know, is there anyway to purposly make this happen?

This has happened to me before, i was in a 3rd person cage match and there were 12 players.

Its a glitch look around it's been posted before.

i got 3 ps3 all sharing the same router, this only works for me in about1 in 4 tries, but if i join a cage match and get my dier to join straight away,then backs straight out, i will migrate into a 12 person cage match,with a full lobby every time . but as soon as game starts it kicks me ........

this happened to me before me and my mate were waiting in lobby for a team death match and ended up in a 3rd person cage mach with 8 people lol i got kinda confused

Yes this has happend i was in Sabotage and when the match started it was team death match. You could hear everyone with headsets talking about it.

can you make it only 2 people FFA?

A) Why would you? its called cage match.
B)Its also called private match.
