I was play modren warfare 2 to on ps3 and at the end of the game it froze so i restart my ps3 and loaded up mw2 again and it froze again and again and again

so i ringed up sony for advice : they said it been happening since 20th janaury and as soon as it happens U MUST do a full system Restore not the quick system the FULL 1 that takes 7 hours to do


i ask what kind of affects happens when it freeze they said : u will lose sound on your playstation 3 and it will corrupt ur ps3 Hard drive and then you will start getting disc errors so you will not play games

Steps you have 2 do

Make sure You back up your save data onto a usb

1) when you in a game and ir freeze your ps3 sitch it off by the plug
and switch the ps3 bk on

2) go to Setting on the menu

3) system settings and go down till you see RESTORE PS3 CLICK IT

4) It should say Quick formatt or Full Formatt CLICK FULL FORMATT this will take 7 Hours this will fic ur ps3 Hard drive

5) After that done go your mw2 SHOULD BE FIX as mine did and fixs the corruption On my ps3 and i can play MW2 with no freeze Or corruption

when you do full restore will i have to re-enter online details to log in

It is not just mw2 it has happened to me 2 times. One time with cod4 and one time with the first Bad Company.
