It comes up with an error message, you get banned when you get a kill also if you turn your console and internet off, you might find that you have been banned.

If it isn't a joke, all I'm going to say is.

1.) Why would they go after people for hacking COD4 now? It's not played as much.

2.) If you're banned and complaining that IW made a mistake, why should you pay....ummm, it IS in the contract. Even if they make mistakes, you're not supposed to exploit them.

3.) That just sucks guys.

4.) XBL users....go buy a PS3, get MAG.

5.) PSN users, make another account, get MAG.



Take a minute and think about why they did this NOW. XBL users all just got the new map pack. If some accounts are true, not only is your gamedata erased, but that map pack. So not only did you just lose all that work for a game you spent 60 bucks on, but now you just lost an additional 10 dollars because you spent it on the map pack. In short...you F'ed with them, and now they F'ed you. There was a contract, you didn't adhere, and they decided to get you at the worst time. I bet you there was something in either the map pack download, or most recent update, to help detect those that hacked.

So, who is all hyped up about COD7? LoL.

Are there any records or proof of recent PS3-ers getting banned to as of 3/1/10 for prestige hacking?

I dont see what the problem is, all I got so say is that I own an x-box and ps3 - both have copies of mw2 - hardened for xbox and normal for ps3, I recently just bought the map pack for MW2 on the xbox and I have got to say that it is pretty awesome, ive also participated in boosting rooms and modded rooms for the xbox system and have hacked to 10th prestige for xbox and ps3, i just logged on a few minutes ago and havent got any messages indicating that i have been banned or suspended, so im pretty sure that this is just an april fools joke being played by NGU, oh and for the PS3 I had this system software update that I just installed and still nothing
