(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); If you sucessfully change your NAT Type to open and experience future router problems with connecting to xbox live or internet on PC then you need to do the following to recover you linksys factory settings.

1. There is a reset button on the back right side of the router (if the front side of the router is facing you) press and hold that reset button for 15 seconds.

2. Release the reset button

3. Pull the power cord on the left side of the back of the router

4. 7 Seconds later plug the power back in

5. Check PC if you can connect to internet and open a webpage

6. If Step 5 is sucessful check if you can connect to xbox live on your xbox ((IF NOT: Repeat steps 1-4))

this messed up my linksys router had problems connecting till i got a new router
