you might be able to find a used one on ebay, craigslist or amazon. Just search around. I think the quality is worth it, but you'll have to determine how important making gaming videos are I guess. Happy

You can also adjust some of your settings in the capture software. Play around with that too. I cap at 8mb/sec. I color correct and contrast correct in Vegas. My PVR captures video a little flat.

thanks man for you help. i use sony vegas but im not to good with it. as for the cap settings, i havent really looked. thanks for the help.

no problem. In vegas, try adding some sharpness and adjust the RGB color curves... it'll add some brightness and contrast. Gives a little pop to the color.
