Im pretty sure they dont reset but im not sure.

Challenges do reset. Prestige challenges do not.

if you are talking about the prestige challenge then it doesn't reset.

The kills that you get to unlock all the attachments, those kills reset.

the prestige challenges u are talking about doesnt reset. only the prestige weapon challenges and prestige killstreak challenges stay. it continues while u keep killing with that weapon and doesnt freeze until u get to that amount.
