It takes my clan tag off and doesnt change the message of the day either.

It just doesnt seem to want to work for me.If anyone has some good clear tut's or a way to help me or something that would be awesome thanks.

There are character limits.
Welcome to Modern Warfare 2! is the HIGHEST amount of characters you can have. Any more and it breaks. You probably tried to over do it.

Clan Tags can only be 4 characters of course.

Ok I knew the thing about the clan tag but didnt know about the LIMIT for the message of the day.I will try it out but does anyone else have any useful info?

make sure u dont do anything 2 the dots ok like .aaaa. dont do anything 2 the dots or it will mess it up
