This. ONLYUSEmeBLADE has actually shot a few times, and every time he has, he cut off his PS3. The data during a match won't get saved.

Hold down the PS button and Quit game. Works every time unless your host.

According to him, he just used the default class that already has the .44 with tactical knife on it, which counts as kills so he can unlock the tactical knife for custom classes.

Anyways, if his stats wouldn't get saved, then he wouldn't get any kills toward his .44 either.

That might work, same with shutting the power off.

The thing is, in COD4, you could sign out, sign back in, and the stats wouldn't update. I tried once in MW2, but it didn't work for me. Maybe it's just me, I'd defiantly give it a try if I were you.

Oh no DO NOT i repeat DO NOT cut off your ps3 in any mid game or your ps3 harddrive will become corrupted this is one of the WORST things you can do to your ps3 I've done it myself you NEED to shut it off properly or you will be very upset with the outcome of what happens if you don't

Good tug on the ethernet cable will do the trick.
