Well, I thought that Modern Warfare 2 would definitely be the game of "finally one game better than Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (game of the 2.5 years)" but hm..?

Well here are some games that could drop the COD4 multiplayer down when they came out, and comments when went to buy them.

Metal Gear Solid 4: "OMGG MSG franchise again!"
Rainbow Six Vegas 1: "Wow this game is amazing!!...before and after playing cod4"
Rainbow Six Vegas 2: "I liked RSV1 before i went to play COD4 lets see!"
Uncharted 2: Among the thieves: "Story, movements (not slow) and multiplayer perfect (for third person game)"
Gears of War 3:
Halo 2:
Halo 3:
Grand theft Auto IV: "OMG! GTA is coming for the first time to PS3 & Xbox!!! (just remembered GTA: San Andreas) and now Mutiplayer wtf!!"
Call of Duty: World at War: "Finally ill play another game (multiplayer) other than cod4 (ovbious if it is a cod game!"
Killzone 2: "Graphics, reality, movements, weapons etc... looks amazing
Resistance 2: "Whoa! I'm sure this will have one of the best mulplayer (because R1 was a good game)"
MAG (massive action game) "Wow perks like cod, and the entire game is dedicated just to multiplayer?... might be awesome"
SOCOM: Confrontation: "Nice game"
Battlefield Bad company: "I like this game omg!"
Battlefield Bad Company 2: "Wow!! the went too far with this one"
Modern Warfare 2: "just 2 words; COD4 = 2 years"

I'm sure that i missed some other good multiplayer games, but oh well, guess what? all those games i was thinking for each of them "Finally I'll be playing another multiplayer game is/will be better than COD4!" well none of those games went as far as CALL OF DUTY 4 in multiplayer. It was 2 years and 6 months (with no fans for online) and people still play COD4 with those games released, well today, people think that every COD game is the best game (all that thanks to cod4).

The fact that MW2 has more feactures and that is more realistic, it doesn't make it better than COD4. And you would say, if mw2 is not better than cod4, then why most people play mw2 and not still cod4? Simple answer: playing a game for over 2+ years you would like to play the worst game instead of continue playing it (you might play it, but not everyday, as was)

Modern Warfare 2 was made for noobs, un-skilled (new members) people and campers. As Robert Bowling said (IW) they tried to balance the game between pros and noobs. It doesn't make sense, do you have to get skills? or that all the requirements are there (for noobs etc..)? and for those who say no, it is balanced, well what is the purpose of deathstreaks etc? for those that still say no IW said they would give more chance to the people that doesn't know how to play the game (with deathstreaks etc...)

Btw I'm a beast playing COD4, MW2, and CO WaW

Defiantly COD4.

Although MW2 had a bunch of new features, I remember somebody once said before MW2 was released:

"Call of Duty 4 was so successful that Modern Warfare 2 will be too, just because it's the sequel. Infinity Ward can throw whatever they want into that game, experiment, and maybe find some good ideas and some bad ones."

They were spot-on. MW2 seems like it was just COD4, with a bunch of random features thrown it as an experiment. And overall, it seems like COD4 came out much better.

cod 4 because it had the best live the best guns and cod mw2 had the best campain but cod 4 overall was so good its my favorite game of all time!!!

COD4, MW2 has too many things to exploit and the spawns are terrible, the amount of times I've spawned and have been knifed before it was possible to move my guy is pretty ridiculous

Infinity Ward just love exploits .... that's the only way Robert Bowling can get to 10th prestige

If not, then why cod5 made 20% chance to hack it, even if the people didnt hacked trenchyard's game (cod4).... i mean thats stupid that IW didnt put it like that,, knowing of their previews game (cod4)
