well.... double tapping triangle helps when you are trying to no scope... its called the Y-Shot.

It helps the bullet go staight

not only for no scoping... if you have only a couple of bullets left and you are realoading till someone comes for you, you can double tap Y and fire the rest of your bullets... maybe you can kill him. This is used to break the reloading process...

It slows down the reloading process. It can also help if you are about to reload,then you can cancel it by double pressing triangle/Y

I quickscope/noscope and i use this when someone is in front of me and i cant quick scope them because they are moving around tooo much, so if you double tap Y/Triangle your gun automaticly
aims on the nearest target if you do this fast you will get 1shot 1kill every time.....

They also do it as they have a trigger finger and can pull of a scope quicker and with more precision
