I think a Ninja Defuse is when a bomb is defused while the planter is extremely close for the duration of the defuse, not just the end of the defuse. I mean close enough for the bomb to kill them if it blew up.

The point of this thread is so we can discuss what a Ninja Defuse REALLY is

it's defusing a bomb while the planter is still alive. is what it REALLY is. and it has nothing to do with the distance as far as i know anyways.

That can't be it, I've done that countless times, but the planter has been away from the bomb. I know because I've seen the end of them planting, then they run off somewhere and camp without knowing I'm defusing

Jermz, it's not. I was playing SnD today and I waited for him to plant, headshot them then defuse and was a ninja.

wierd cos i've never gotten it by killing the planter. i got a ninja defuse right after the guy planted it. maybe you didn't kill the planter.

all a ninja defuse is defusing the bomb with 1 or 2 seconds of it being planted.

this can also be done if you are defusing a bomb in demolition and the other bomb site gets planted, then the one being defused will be a ninja defuse
