1. I use HD PVR, But for SD not HD I'd buy a Dazzle.
2. Well Mine's too, you'll need some long usb cords.
3. 50-60 Dollars or so.
4. Ebay, Electronic Shops.
5. Torrents, you can get sony vegas from em, it's basically awesome to use. but the dazzle already comes with one editing prog.

I said 5 metres from my PS3, also, is USB cables all, my friend said something about A/V Cables or something? I honestly got no ****in idea what i'm doing when it comes to this kinda stuff. Is the editing software that comes with a Dazzle good? Also, is it $50 - $60 for the Dazzle alone or will that be for the extra cables too?

no you do not get long enough cables when you purchase the dazzle
yes you will have to buy extra cables A/V for basic non hd capturing

So I need 5m+ AV Cables and that's it?
