If you are using a laptop to convert the video then that is the reason why. laptops dont have enough power to process hd videos. if it is not that then try using a different converter like WinX HD or something else

Well, boot up the recorder in advanced settings, Change the brightness etc to what looks best for you.

And quality settings to -> Good

When we had it on Best it was lagging like ****!
