The ac130 was leaving the playing field and i shot the RPG-7 after it and then 10 seconds it says i destroyed it and got 400 xp OMG!

Pure fluke!

Yeah, I have done this on wasteland too. I was like OMGOMGOMGOMG and talked about it for ages. This was when I used to play it alllll the time though a few month back. I honestly don't care if anyone doesn't believe me either. I have nothing to gain by lying.
