Post: Fix Corrupt Prestige Files Permanently ! (Not temporarily)

I have been looking for a way of fixing Corrupt Data files Permanently.
I have found various methods of fixing the files but these methods were only going to fix them temporarily (For one Service).
So I decided to try a few methods myself and have eventually found a way which will keep them fixed permanently.
Please don't complain if you already know. This is for people who don't know how to do it.

Method
:Note: All of the steps below must be done with the latest patch installed. Don't use patch blocker to un-corrupt files !
1) Once the prestige files are on your memory stick. Copy them over to the ps3.
2)Load up Mw2.
3)Make sure your signed in and select 'play online'.
4)Once your stats are all loaded go onto split screen and load up the prestige files.
5)Then load the prestige files on LAN PARTY.
6)Quit the game and delete the files currently on the usb stick.
7)Copy over the new un-corrupt files to you usb stick.
8.Put the usb stick into you computer/laptop and save them.
All the files are un-corrupt and have now been saved as un-corrupt files. Therefore they will stay un-corrupt.
