Actually Rpg's are about half the damage on airsupport than stingers and are very unreliable, you cant just get used to them. Scavenger isnt needed as you wont use that much ammo, and it takes longer to circle round the map. Danger close aint needed as they are always in close proximity to each other. Stopping power is unnecessary especially on a gun as overpowered as a ump.
I can shoot down killstreaks in seconds mate!
1) u dont have to lock on.
2) flares dont effect RPGs.
3) by the time u bypass the flares and shoot down the Pave low with stingers the booster could be 5-10 kills closer to a nuke.
Harriers take 1 RPG and 4 bullets.
Pave lows take 3 RPGs OR 2 RPGs & around half an ammo clip.
Chopper Gunners take 2 RPGs.
"you cant just get used to them" yes you can, you just have to USE IT for a while and aim ahead of choppers.
The hole point in Scavenger is so u can run around killing the other 5 or 6 enemys that are not boosting.
and if u havent experienced a FFA with 3-4 boosters in the one spot then Danger Close can easily get u a qaud with one RPG
