Schwalm's Ultimate MW2 S&Awesome face Guide

In this guide I will teach you the proper techniques for Search and Destroy.

There are some options in the Table of Contents of what you would like to learn.

If I think of more ideas I will put them into this thread.
If you think of any ideas I may think about them and put it in.
I was going to put maps with rush routes, bomb locations, spawn points.. but some maps can be hard to do with the up/downstairs of the maps (need input if I should put them in)

Any questions.. ASK!

Good luck, hopefully this thread will make you better and more understanding of Search and Destroy =D

[multipage=Button Layout]
Button Layout

  • Tactical Layout
  • Sensitivity 4-6

It's a MUST to use the Tactical Layout. If you get in close gun fights, you may need to dropshot, which allows you to buy time and avoid getting shot. With Tactical you can still Aim while dropshotting.

The lower sensitivity results in better aiming, you can control your crosshairs a lot better. With 10 sensitivity, yes you can turn on people a lot easier, but your aim will be TERRIBLE.

[multipage=Class Setups]
Class Setups

Rushing

  • UMP 45 with Silencer
  • G18 Akimbo
  • Blast Shield
  • Stuns
  • Perk 1- Marathon Pro
  • Perk 2- Lightweight Pro / Stopping Power Pro
  • Perk 3- Ninja Pro

This class is amazing, the UMP is super powerful and effective. With the silence your enemies will not know where you are, since your gun is silent and you don't show as a 'red dot'. Akimbo Grlocks so you can spray if you need to reload and see many enemies, since you are rushing. Marathon is an obvious to get to your position quicker and lightweight to get there even faster. Ninja PRO is a must to they can't hear where you are coming from. Also the Blast Shield, if you are rushing you DON'T need to throw grenades, because it will waste time and you can't rush as effectively. Just turn your blast shield on and you can rush while taking minimal damage from grenades and noobtubes (you won't die from 1 hit).

Defensive/Tactical

  • Famas Red Dot Sight
  • G18 Akimbo
  • Semtex
  • Stuns
  • Perk 1- Sleight of Hand Pro
  • Perk 2- Stopping Power Pro
  • Perk 3- Nina Pro

The Famas is a great gun to pick people off with. It takes 1-2 bursts to kill somebody, which is much better than spraying a whole clip of a fully auto across the map. Akimbo G18's for when you get rushed, they are pretty much like an SMG. Sleight of Hand Pro, for reloading quick, helps a lot with automatics and aims down sight quicker, which is IDEAL for the Famas. Stopping power is a no brainer. Once again Ninja Pro so they can't hear your footsteps.

All around setup

  • ACR Red Dot Sight
  • G18 Akimbo
  • Semtex
  • Stuns
  • Perk 1- Sleight of Hand Pro
  • Perk 2- Stopping Power Pro
  • Perk 3- Ninja Pro

The ACR is the BEST all around gun in the game. You can simply kill somebody with 3-4 shots from across the map, or close up. It's extremely accurate also. Akimbo Glocks for close quarter combats. Sleight of hand pro for reloading quicker, since the ACR does reload pretty slow. Stopping power and Ninja are self explanatory.

[multipage=Rushing Tactics]
Rushing Tactics

Use the "Rushing setup" I provided above. When you rush, you MUST have a silencer, or else you will show up as a red dot on the radar, and they can hear you shooting. Unless they have a headset, they won't know where you are. USE the blast shield, when somebody shoots a noobtube, or throws grenade, it won't be as powerful when it hits you. You will survive but will be extremely low health, but it will save you. When you use the blast shield you have NO radar though, so just know where you are going.

When you are rushing, DON'T stop rushing, continue to move forward at all times. When you go into building, it's a good idea to throw your stuns, if you get a "hitmarker" run in there with your Akimbo Glocks and get ready to spray. This will give you the best chance at getting easy kills.

When rushing you MUST rush the "flanks". Which are the outer part of the map, or the spots that people don't watch. If you rush straight down the middle where everbody watches, you will die 9/10 times.

On defense, it is the BEST time to rush. You can flank them and shoot them all in the back easily. They won't be expecting you to rush them them when they are on offense, so you can catch them off guard.

Lastly, DON'T rush the same spot you did the round before. If they noticed where you rushed before, don't do it again. If they had no idea where you came from, do it again until they catch you.

[multipage= Defensive Tactics]
Defensive/Tactical Tactics

When you are playing defensive, it's most likely because your team is complete trash, and you have to carry. That's not always a bad thing because then it leads you to getting more kills. You don't want to sit in the back of the map. You want to push forward to a reasonable position in the map, and just chill behind cover. I'm NOT saying camp, once you get a kill or get shot at, you need to move around, and find a new spot to chill at.

You need Assault rifle while playing defensive. Since you will need to shoot further across the map, and pick people off. Attempting to pick people off across the map is VERY effective if you can succeed. Kill 2 people early, then that leads your team with a major advantage.

Taking cover is a huge must. You need to sit behind something, so they can barely see your head, and you can see the full map infront of you. This is what most people call "head glitching". It may be a bitch move, but it's super effective and can save you a lot of the time, and lead to easy kills.

[multipage=How to clutch]
How to clutch

I can't really show you from text how to do this, but I can explain. A "Clutch" is when you are the last person alive and kill 2 or more people and win the round.

You need to be in a good spot on the map, not in the middle though. Keep your enemies infront of you, and watch all your sides. Don't sit in one spot, after you kill somebody, move right away. If you stay in the same spot, they will notice the red dot and come kill you. Don't stare at one spot for too long, make sure you are watching every way possible for somebody to get to you. Get in a spot where you have really good cover, such as in a building, or behind an object.

That's pretty much all I can explain in text how to clutch to you, just keep active and moving.

[multipage=Callouts]
Callouts

Callouts are calling out the position where you see an enemy. Whether you are playing with your friends, or random people. You need to know your 'callouts'. My callouts are different when I'm playing with my friends, and when I'm playing with randoms.

Callouts are determined by the location where the person is that you are calling out. They are best described by what color the building looks like, or its surroundings.

Here is a video for MLG map callouts. (NOT ALL MAPS)
You can change the name on them also.

[multipage=Keep your cool]
Keep your cool

When you are playing games, not just Modern Warfare 2 or Search and Destroy, you need to keep your cool. Such as don't get mad/upset when you killed. Once you get heated and mad, you WILL play worse, trust me. The more focused you are on the game, the better you will do

When you play on Xbox 360 like me, and everyone uses gaming headsets, you NEED Ninja Pro so they can't hear your footsteps.

very nice guide, usually I snipe when I play search so idk how much this will help me personally but I will try it. But usually my crap connection, some dome ass noobtubers etc ruins the game for me so I just leave.

Also I seem to do A LOT better when play with friends than randoms.

Ehh, I like playing with randoms to get more kills. When I play with friends we just mess around and try to get good game winning killcams lol
