Ok, so i bought a pair of px21's for my ps3 today. now when i got it all set up i started a FFA, and needless to say i rocked house, i went 30-2 i could hear peoples footsteps above me, and below me. also i could hear weapons across the map, even silent weapons, i could hear tons of stuff. But than i went into a TDM with a party, and all they seem to do is to make shit more loud....i mean yea, it sounds great and all, but its almost impossible to hear foot steps with all the damn tubes going off, and when i do hear footsteps and i check my mini map its always a team mate. So what im driving at here, is anyone with a turtle beach, or any gaming headset, does it take a little while to get used to the new sound scope before you learn and get better with them?
Hey dude i know what you mean when i first bought my turtle beach x1 (xbox 360) i was confused like you are i kept thinking that my teams footsteps were my enemies but eventully you will get used to it. I suggest maybe trying to play free for all's at first to get used to the direction the footsteps are coming from. Then move on to other game modes and as you progress through the game you will get used to it. If you are still having trouble with this then you should unlock sit rep pro this will enhance the enemies footsteps meaning you can tell which are your teams and which are theres
