(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Why did InfinityWard fail to include any night time maps in MW2???

As with other things missing, the night vision is available in Single Player and NVG's even came packaged with Prestige Edition of the game but they failed to include any on the Multiplayer side.

First, most all modern armies are issued standard NVG's and secondly, most all military officials would agree that a night time engagement is better than broad daylight.

So,why? Have any of you considered this before?

I would like to hear your theory as to why they scrapped the night maps from MW2.

I think it was because everybody complaining about the map Wetwork from COD4 and not being able to see other players. Personally, I thought that map was great for run and gun and sniping but what do I know, I take what I am given.

Vote if you would like to see a night map on MW2 or not and please provide your opinion.

i like underpass, i think a night map would be sweet...oh and if you think thermal is noobish than use cold blooded, i love thermal, easy kills.

look at WaWs maps, Makin was a night time level then they released a mini map pack with 1 map for free, this map was Makin Day with a slightly changed layout.

I always thought that NVGs and Laser sights should be released.
this was what I was thinking;

Laser sights can be seen and are quite clear to see unless u are far away.

Torch Attachment allows you to brighten up dark rooms or outdoors but are sum what visible to your enemys.

NVGs will make any dark room clear and will tint everything green,
however u can counter NVGs if you attache the torch to your gun and shine it in there face the will be blinded for a very short period of time. (like a flash bang)

Oh well maybe NVGs will be in Black Ops as NVGs were widely used in Vietnam and was first used in WW2

Underpass and rundown counts i think. Hate them both
