I was called a riot shield noob in the lobby. I was like wtf? Riot shield is like the hardest thing to use! What do you guys think?

What? It's practically the only thing that takes skill in this game.

Riot shielding is fun as balls, it does take some skill to be decent, but i use it as a "Im at level 70 and im not prestiging again boredom busters lol

I say that if somebody let's you get close enough to them with a Riot Shield (especially in SnD) then that's their fault.

Riot shields are definitely not a nube thing, it takes a lot of skill to use one properly. Most of the time, if you're not good at it, the guy just circles you while shooting and a few bullets catch an open part and your down. Using a riot shield effectively is as far from noob as it gets.

Try this class for riot shields, it's pretty fun to use and effective:

Primary: Riot Shield
Secondary: Doesn't matter
Equipment: C4
1st Perk: Scavenger / OMA (I prefer scavenger, but OMA works to replenish C4 just as well)
2nd Perk: Danger Close Pro
3rd Perk: Commando (in case the C4 doesn't get them, which it should)

Use that, it takes some skill to be good with it, and it is pretty funny to run up behind a guy and chuck C4 and watch him go flying.

Yeah I seen WoR's nuke with that. But I find it would be quite boring waiting for people I prefer running with it holding down points and getting crowd control.

I didn't know someone got a nuke with that set up.

But you don't have to wait around for them, go out and find them, when they stop to reload, hurl a C4 pack at them, double tap square, and they're dead.

When I play capture the flag I use the following:
Riot Shield, M1014, Semtex, Stun, Marathon, Lightweight, and Commando.
