Data works fine, just tried it now, but you have to change the SAVE GAME FOLDER to "TEST" for it to work, as this is what the OP used.

Just tried it in a private split-screen, got normal XP, I gameshared map packs, someone delete patch and try?

replace all of them, if that dont work try just the MP data

Just rename your splitscreen account folder the "TEST", this should be the last word in the folder name, this is why it was not working.

hmmm what did you edit? you shouldn't be editing mp if your going for ufo hack haha its prob just a message and doesn't affect anything ... try putting someone else in the game and kill them to see what happens
