Its good for long-mid range i'd say, if you get good at quickscoping (or some fast hardscoping, you dont need to be like zzirGrizz) you can use intervention for long, mid, close and for very close a shotty. With this you dont also need steady aim and can replace it with ninja, which is very useful!

(this stuff about quikscoping worked well for me o.o)
