How far away do you sit from it?

If the resolution is the same,don't people appear larger on a big screen?That would make movement easier to see from a distance.
I still suspect that it takes longer for target acquistion on a big screen.

Blah, get a high quality T.V (780p - 1080p) but a small T.V, first of all i recommend this because if you do get a large t.v it will distort your picture and it won't be as clear trust me and also big T.V do taken longer for you to scan the overall picture being displayed which in FPS games this could cause you to be killed because of you taking the time to look across the whole screen and plus usually smaller T.V's have better quality because the picture on the screen is not being stretched out like it is on a smaller one

Nah, it's all about how far away from the screen you are.
