I had downloaded the new MW2 map pack off my friends PSN account after I done the prestige hack for him. My mistake was I had downloaded and installed the map pack before i updated the patch again and so the map pack was gone after the update.

(This may be irrelevant but there was an error whilst installing the patch the 1st time so i had to do it again)

So i'm basically asking is there any way to recover the map pack from my HD since he has changed the password of his PSN account ?

if its gone its gone. i dont think you can get it back unless you gameshare again or buy it. sorry!

yeah ur pretty much farked u gotta re download it my mate had the same sorta thing i let him download it and he deleted the account and now he doesnt have them :mad:

Nope you can't get it back from your HD. You would have to game share with him again.

Why dont you just ask your friend to redownload it? Unless you gameshared it from him when you were on his account doing prestige for him..
