Using BBCode

Don't know what BBCode is? Well it has been used already in this guide! BBCode is the use of bold text, italic and underline. Using BBCode utilizes organisation, and make things much easier to read. I would recommend using this to bold out important words/phrases, or notable points.

The usage of this is important, as it formats your thread, which is very important. BBCode is a shortened term of Bulletin Board Code.

Weapon Guide

Right, so you've decided to make a weapon guide, great. Obviously, you need to find out about the gun, which isn't always instant off the top of your head, so you need assistance. This You must login or register to view this content. tells you a lot about every gun. Do not copy and paste the content! Take the content, edit it, and make it your own. You can add custom facts in. However, personal guides can be made, I often make these. I simply get the guns damage/stats off of a website, then base the guide around personal experience/opinion.

In your guide you will need an introduction and a conclusion, otherwise no one will know what you are talking about, and how you feel after the guide.

After your introduction, list the attachments/perks to use with the gun, if you fail to do so, the reader may select a bad setup, causing a bad end product, and we don't want this.

When you have done this, discuss the tactics to experiment with - ensure you have tried and tested each one. Nobody wants to listen to someone who doesn't even know what the result will be.

I will now post a simple template for your guide, which will feature things you can edit, and change to your likings.

Other Guide

For another guide, I won't be posting another template, but I will give you some tips. There are several other guides you can create, such as specific map tactics, gameplay tactics, or walkthroughs for the campaign.

For each guide, you will have to have an introduction and conclusion, this is totally vital. In the main body of the guide, just use my template I provided before hand, and then your good to go, just edit the titles.

For a tactic guide, provide the class setup you would recommend, how said setup can be beneficial, and possibly some feedback. Provide a description of the tactic, and how the tactic itself is better than others.

A general gameplay guide would need to contain things like how to maintain a good kill death ratio, how to keep your cool, general things, hence the general guide.

For every guide, it is essential to take in peer feedback, the readers know best, use their opinions, and capitalise on them, this way you will know what people want. If you take these opinions, you can maybe get more ideas to make them better, thus reaping more rewards.
