The new firmware update ( the one in april) promised PS3 users a new blu-ray player capable of the 3rd demension have been confirmed (just another reason to buy a station over an xbox) will be added. There is also rumors of a cross gaming chat enabled in the next firmware along w/ options and customabilities
this includes PS3 games IN THEORY because PS3 games are blu-ray discs
while yes... not all of us have a 6000dollar 3D samsung LED TV. those that do are going to be having one hell of a ride shooting in a chopper gunner.

Batman Arkam Asylum came out in 3D, I have yet to get it however I talked to a guy at gamestop and he said that you get the game, contact the Company who made the game and they send you 3D glasses. He also said that it doesnt require a 3D tv to play the game. So hopefully it will be the same for mw2

while yes a fun expierence the price and costs are astounding

PS3 already got the 3D firmware in april. All the next firmware will do is add some 3D options in the display settings on the XMB.
