I am seriously thinking of getting an S video cable for my capture card. My TV does not have an S video plug, would using a S video to RCA converter actually improve my quality or am I wasting my time? +Rep for any help..

yeah I had a dazzle and used s-video and it looks A LOT better without doing anything.

I have an EasyCap and for some reason I can never get the S-Video to work (could be cuz i'm on vista and my easycap isn't even compatible wit vista in the first place)

Yeah it does, but your quallity is pretty sick for an EC. But if you have the money, buy an HD PVR.

omg the failed effects suck real bad the quality sucks buy a hd tv and BUY pvr. You wont regret it. 480p sucks.
