i was thinking to take one of my Hard Drives and put it into my ps3 and a usb with firmware v3.21 and install it =)
lol forgot that Firmware is stored inside the ps3 not in the HARD DRIVE

Why can't you? I've heard it's because it is very hard to find the dummy file in the hex editor. Is there any other reason? Im attempting to do it on 3.30 and believe i have found the dummy file. When i created the dummy partlog, i checked the box to make a bin file aswell to check the size of it...it came out as 2.16GB..:O =cool:
