(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hey guys, i am wondering if anyone has sucessfully created the .bin file with the 1.10 patch?? if so how did you do it?

i found dummy sectors and it created a .bin (2.2gb in size) exactly the same size as dummy i put in via usb.

when i come to extract data different to 0x00 it keeps throwing out the same 4kb file. (start of encrypton)

the patch is around about 16mb > so the .bin file should be same size. but it just doesnt seem to be grabing it.

anyone else had same prob?? help would be gratfully recieved. i wanted to have a lobby running tonight. but keep having same probs

i did but i had to put the farmware 3.30 back into the ps3

how did you do it dude? did you use a back up image off hdd from your comp, or use physical drive?? i can see all the patch data via hxd. what i am thinking of doing is cutting the patch data out (its all together on 3.21) and pasting it in place off the dummy data. not sure if it wold ork tho, and dont wanna waiste my time if it aint plausable

come on guys? i cant bve the only one setting up a modded lobby, i am doing full format on hdd via ps3, gonna take 1.10 patch again and try.

i notice around the forum lots off ppl are saying they are working on it, or like last nite they did it,

but its becoming clear most of it is bs.

pm if you managed it mate, am thinking i need to find the start offset and end offset of the patch to extract. hdd studio dont seem to pick up the data

Hi mate, I have tried allsorts but just so i know where your at lets ask a few things?? so you have a decrypted hd on 3.21 and 3.30? your hoping to edit data on 3.21 and then recompress it and install on 3.30 ??
I have been trying this on 3.30 but decrypting alwasys fails at step two and seems that once data is edited/replaced the dummy changes,
Anyway i have my sons ps3 3.15 and mine 3.30 tomorrow so if you like pm me and il see what you have done and try to help??

Been looking a lot and think my method will be to Decrypt HD on 3.21 decompress n edit server config or patch files depending on what i find! recompress then encrypt and do transfer vis ethernet (if it can be done) dunno

so have you manged to retrieve the partlogs.bin on the image+patch?? (16mb in size??) if its only 4kb in size it will through error in stage to, cause it aint replacing dummy partlogs with patch.

no that was same as i got too, seemed it couldnt replace dummy with patch files are you on 3.30?

sorry gotta go but il be around from 9ish uk time tommorow and have 2xhd`s caddys etc all in place ready and il have the 3.15 ps3 too to dump from and start fresh??

ps what pattern/method did you use to find dummy??
