(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay I know the mods are going to most likely close this but I know these are questions everyone is asking that no one is answering.

Is it absolutely NECESSARY to have 2 PS3's to make a modded lobby?

Can I downgrade my firmware? (If you only need one PS3)

Where do I need to go and what do I need to do if downgrading is possible?

Where can I go to better understand C++ and it's relation to these mods?

Where can I go to understand HDD Studio 2.08?

Will a tut for modding the patch be made public anytime soon?

Hope someone answers these questions, I myself am not attempting to hack this patch but I know many of you have the resources to so I hope this helps and motivates you!

Nope, he would have to buy another ps3 from a shop. They are on 3.15/3.21 in my shops..

Do you think a skilled hacker could possible edit a patch, make it 3.40 or something and distribute it? That way the PS3 thinks it's an update since you can't downgrade?

I have just read somewhere on here that slims may not be able to be hacked and they are the only ones availible in shops.

Not possible, you simply can't crack the encryption

See I don't get that though, from what we know you have to hack the decrypt and encrypt the patch back and edit and stuff, right?

Would someone be able to create there own custom firmware though?

In all fairness they said the PS3 wouldn't be hacked...ever lol look at it now, I think it's fair to say anything is possible.
