when veiwing it in hxd in the txt section half way down the file it reads "the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog"

i thought wtf!!!????

so i googled it. its an old dycrypten method. when u can read the txt clearly you did it right!!!

so success,

how can i view this file as C++ so i can edit values??

It may look similar, but GSC is a proprietary language.

GSC is similar to all other Object orientated languages.

right we're not copying enough data to the iwff files, if you scroll further down you can see maps/mp/gametypes/_rank.gsc which is part of the xbox ff file. Though I had it cracked by copying the xbox ff file header across but it crashes ps3

try changing the header back to whatever it was after youve done editing then see if error on your ps3.
