A few buddies and I were playing the resurgence playlist and got into a game of team deathmatch. The game starts, and we can hear the other teams voice chat but they can't hear ours. All of a sudden everything becomes a one shot kill. And then the scores freeze. I had 2 kills and I started messing around only trying to 360 scope kids and stuff and my friend had 12 kills but it still said we both had 200 points, and the overall score stayed the same like 4600-3900. And then this kid on the other team gets an AC-130, and the sound of the big cannon continues on for a long time, and these weird rays of light just start appearing out of nowhere. But that's not even the most weird thing. We start running out to get killed by the AC130 to let the kid get a nuke to see what would happen. He gets a nuke and calls it in, and the timer says 15 minutes instead of 10 seconds like normal. So the nuke sound continues for the whole 15 minutes and the scores stay the same even though basically everyone has about 50 kills.

And then yesterday I was playing again and the same thing happened, we can hear the other team talking, everything turns to a one shot kill, the scores stay the same, and theres all these weird rays of light everywhere. So basically what I'm asking is does anyone know what this is and has it happened to you before?

Modded lobby ^^ There is thousands of them for XBOX

Yea chances are the host had recently been in a modded lobby and had got some infections. Thats what it sounds like from the 15 minute nuke timer

Definitly a modded lobby, because normally moded lobbys use AC130'S and rays of light, search it up on youtube "MW2 Moded Lobby" and you'll probbally come across exactlly what happened to you.
