No questions about dycrypting hdd if you havnt figured how that works. The patch is gonna be far to complicated for you.
Also new ideas welcome

Ok so I have done that, all the blocks are one color, Ext2FS Super Block 0
What can I do with this?

Thanks Brendan, i have the header of zlib but need to know how i can find the footer?? (end of files) can i scan with offzip or simply zip etc as iv tried to extract with zlib but it starts and gives an `error on data` than exits leaving an empty notepad file??
I have also tried scanning with r-studio but all files show on block colour as other guy did on last page?? dont suppose you know why??

yeah me too?? was concerned anyway cos my decrypted.bin was 1.1gb and should only be 100mb ish, redoing all the steps from scratch now the hopefully when i get here it will be ok

Mine was 105mb, well 104 odd but rounds up in most things. Time to waste another 4 or so hours, not slept in 31 hours as was working all day then back in at 2:30am till 10 doing testing. It'll keep me awake at least
