I have got to the part where i have extracted the two Iwff files from decrypted HDD and found the header start of the zlib file ( starts 7A D8 ) but cant find the end footer?? when i scan the patch with R-Studio it shows the patch as one unrecognised block and i understand it should show different colours so i can go to the offset at the end of zlib extract to file then decompress with simplyzip then view in notepad to add codes etc,

Any help really is appreciated as im very close to modding this now just need a bit of guidance

Mate I think everyone who has got this far is stuck at this bit, I'll give it another try today now that I've slept.

yeah seems that way, iv redone every step and 00 HD inbetween and used physical disks instead of image to create partlogs and scan for dummys etc to be sure of no corruption

im also at this point, i have managed to decompress the .ff 's i have but only get a 64kb file, although it shows laods of english like

melee_knife_stab etc

still its not the fille file, it says complete but only gets to 64kb of my original 129kb file

I keep getting error when I tried to decompress it!!!

no in fastfile but yea im getting error too

He removed the first 25 bytes of patch then ran with FF Tool but all you end up with is dump files 64kb?? im assured by someone whos hack is almost complete that it has to be done through zlib files extracted and decompressed then viewed/edited in notepad
