Its not about the formatting its about the fact he didnt find the right dummy data... u hav gotta find sectors that appear more than once... if u copy any line in file that has similar bytes it will give u that error because it cannot create a big enough partlogs (not enough sectors of that repeating) hope i helped

If you think you found the dummy data check the size before goin through the next step if the dummy you put on the USB pen was 2gb then the data you pull off the hdd needs to be 2gb also

my dummy is 2.06gb

and my dummy data partlog is 34kb

OMG! The partlog would only be a few KB, its a text file! It contains offsets of where the dummy is LOL.
