(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey Everybody,

I've spent the last two weeks or so just trying to get challenges on MW2, which has led to some interesting discoveries on how to complete some of the harder challenges. If you are having trouble with any of the challenges, you may want to take a look here.

Keep in mind that I'm trying to do all of these without boosting. All of the challenges can easily be done if you have a few skilled boosters, but if you don't (that's me!) and you're on your own, these methods will also work pretty well.

So I've made a list of all of the harder challenges I've had to get, and some tricks to help you get them. These tricks were found through lots of playing, some brainstorming, and even a little research online.

(Remember that there are a bunch of hard challenges that there's really no help you can get for- like getting 1000 headshots with a PP2000. There's no real trick here that I can give. These are only challenges that I can actually help you on!)

*****

Hot Potato I/II (Humiliation): Kill 5/10 enemies with thrown back grenades.
This can actually be a hard challenge if you don't know what you're doing. But there is an extremely simple trick: Use your own grenades.
That's right, if you throw a grenade straight down at the ground an immediatly pick it up and chuck it, it counts as a thrown-back grenade.
It's best not to try this on moving targets. Try finding a camper and doing it right behind him, or if your aim is good enough try to get the grenade in a building. Keep in mind that you have very little time to aim the grenade after throwing it down and picking it up again, so try to just kill a camper from behind.

Cruelty (Humiliation): Kill an enemy , pick up his weapon , and then kill him again with his own weapon.
Simply play team tactical. (Cage Match worked better, but they removed it.) That way your chances of killing the same person with their gun become twice as high. If you still can't get the challenge by just randomly playing Team Tactical, try this:
Camp somewhere and wait for an enemy to come by. Kill him, and then show no signs of moving (so if he watches the killcam he'll think you are still camping). After a few seconds, run to his body, pick up his weapon, and find a new camping spot that gives you a nice view of your old one. If the enemy comes back (chances are he will) just kill him with his old gun. Easy.

Ultimate Sacrifice (Intimidation): Nuke the enemy while your team is losing.
Of course you'll need to be good enough to get a nuke to complete this challenge. If you are, you should try to use one of the smaller based team games, like Team Deathmatch of Team Tactical. Avoid Ground War. This is because what you would do is get a 25 killstreak and then stop playing completely. In Ground War, this would make the game 9 on 8 (Your team might still win). In Team Tactical, this would make the game 4 on 3 (Much better chance). If you can't get a nuke in these game modes, then try Domination. Since the score isn't based on kills, there's really a 50-50 chance your team will be losing when you get a nuke.
[Goutinator points out that another good idea is to made a running class (lightweight, marathon) and run over to the enemy team repeatedly. That way the other team takes the lead faster.]

MG Master (Intimidation): Get a 5 kill streak while on a mounted machine gun.
You just need to know where to go. Chances are nobody will kill you from the front (SMG vs. MG: MG wins.) Your problem is your back. Find a MG inside of a room, not just out in the open. But a claymore at one entrance. Since there's usually two entrances, you may want to Scavenger or One Man Army to get another claymore.
If you have the map pack, I defiantly recommend the MG on Overgrown, facing the Barn. If you put claymores down it's easy to kill them all when they spawn- just keep an eye out for snipers.
Also remember that if you go off of the MG for any reason, the streak ends. So stay on, even if you here one of your claymores go off.

Perfectionist (Precision): Fire an entire Sniper mag into an enemy without missing.
This one is easy if you're a good sniper. If you're not, however, what you might want to do is to go around the enemy team and, with a silenced intervention (intervention has the least number of bullets), find a camper, shoot him once or twice, and then either kill him with a third shot or knife him if he starts to move. You can reload, but you cannot die or your streak will end. After that, just find another camper and repeat. May take a few tries, but you'll get it eventually.

Group Hug (Precision): Kill multiple enemies with a Semtex Grenade stuck to one of them.
There are two places you'll be able to pull this off: A spot where everybody is sniping from (the barn in overgrown, the roof of crash, either side on highrise, etc) or at a care package. For the first option, go around the map and behind the enemy, and wait for two snipers to be within a few feet of each other. You may also want to shoot the other enemy after you stick the first one, just to confuse them both and decrease the chances of one escaping. For the care package, either call it in yourself or find an enemy one close to you. If you can hold off the enemy until you see two of them going for it at once, just throw a semtex at them and with some good aim you can stick one and kill both.
[Shadow_Company says that another good spot is the tunnel in Terminal leading to the airplane.]
[+sT Iridion suggests finding a pair of boosters and sticking one of them with the semtex.]

Airborne (Precision): Get a 2 kill streak with bullets while in midair.
Thanks to a few glitches, this one is super easy to get. Do a YouTube search for "MW2 Airborne Glitch" (I'd do it myself, but flash player is not working for me. Grrr...) and find a good video. These glitches are just spots that you go to where the game thinks you are floating in midair, even if you're not. I personally used one at Scrapyard (next to a jet engine or something) but I'm sure they all work well. Just get in one of those spots and try to get a two kill streak.

Did you see that ? (Equipment): Kill someone with a throwing knife when flashed or stunned.
I've never seen anybody pull this off with a stun, and I don't know why but it seems much harder. Find a camper, throw a flash grenade directly next to them, and before it goes off line up your throwing knife shot. You want to release the trigger at the exact same time that the flash goes off. Be sure not to jump the gun, you don't want to get the kill before they're flashed.
(I actually got this challenge during a game winning killcam :P)

Well there you go, I may add in more later but unfortunately I think I'm running out of room on the thread. If there are any challenges that you think should be here that I missed, please tell me and I'll try to fit them in.

Thanks!

For C4 go into FFA and double kill boosters. :U

HQ is a good mode for multi C4.
Throw it on the ceiling of the HQ( most are in a room ) you can let them capture and set it off, but usually multiple people try to recapture so wait till then. Good for frag & AT4/RPg as well and group hug.

Haxor!
For shooting C4 challenge;

go into a domination match of bailout, and camp in the room where everyone is running in and out (between A and C) and put your C4 in the middle of the room. Lie down somewhere around the edge (where the balcony is) and aim at your C4, whenever someone runs into the room shoot it and BOOM kill. easy

Do martydom grenades count towards multi kills?
I don't use it but would if it counted.
I get lots of semtex multi kills but struggle with the frags.
If you have martydom on and run in a room with a cooked grenade do you still drop another frag when dying?

Yea, I've been trying something like that recently. Essentially just using C4 as a Claymore.

I believe that they do count as multi kills.
And yes, you would drop two grenades. But if you got two kills from two different grenades, it still wouldn't be a multikill.
