I then go onto select a part logs and type in '‘MasterImage_To_Encrypt_330.bin and save it to my desktop but it always comes up with an error when i click do process after 4% saying system out of memory exeption thrown of something like that and just sticks at 4%. I am using a tutorial i bought and am following it for the 3.30 firmware, which it was made for. I cant get it to work though. Can anyone help me ?

Update
So far I have prepared the hdd and selected the hdd operation and selected the disk and done the operation. This worked and i put the hdd back into the ps3. The a message came up telling me to load the firmware up from the ps3 site which i have done. I then formatted the hdd and have no connected it back up to the computer. The next step is this:

Click the ‘Find & Merge’ tab.
Select what to seek: ‘Find all HDD sectors containing data different from 0x00, through all HDD’
Select physical disk: Choose your PS3’s HDD once again
Choose a Partlogs name: type ‘MasterImage_To_Encrypt_xxx.bin’ (xxx is your PS3s firmware)
Click ‘Do Process’.

So I do all that and click do process. When I click do process it gets to 4% and I get an error which says something like the system is out of memory and exeption thrown. It ask me to quit or continue. I click continue and the process bar at the bottom freezes on 4%.

Any ideas what im doing wrong ?
