You talkin to me?
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I am regularly having a problem when trying to play MW2. I get the 'Fetching Playlists' Continuously, and if I wait about 10 minutes it goes away and I select Find Game and I get 'Fetching Playlists' again...

I am connected via extended Ethernet and have BTHomeHub 2.0, I got this home hub recently, so it could be that, I guess.

I tried both COD4 and COD5 and they work absolutely fine...

I have tried deleting the patch and re-downloading it, but that does not work, UPnP is OFF, PS3 is not in DMZ.
Last note: If I look at what devices are connected to my hub and the config page, if my ps3 is connected wirelessly, it comes up under wireless connections, it does aswell with wired, but when this problem occurs, it says disconnected... I still have internet access as I'm still signed in (signing is not slowed at all...) This seems odd to me...

Any Ideas, greatly appreciated....

It's all down to the net mate I had same prob when I used bt and half the time I couldn't get into a game. Since changing to vm not had problem since. You could try and reset the hub bk to speedtouch (hack) then u can adjust up/down settings. But a lot of work for not much off a gain.

1. go on google

2. type in 'put ps3 in DMZ'

3. follow 1 of the hundreds of guides, then you will have perfect online play.

thank if it helped Smile

MY PS3 is in DMZ, but when this problem is happening, the PS3 does not show up on my Home Hub router page...? (Says Offline)... So it won't be in DMZ, because apparently, it isn't connected to my Hub, but INTERNET AND ALL GAMES OTHER THAN MW2, WORK PERFECTLY!!!!

NOTE: If I connect wirelessly, PS3 shows up and all works, so why wont wired work?

Its BT.
Trust me it used to do it to me and my friend all the time on cod4.
Best thing you can do is make sure nothing else (pc, laptop, phones ect) is connect.
After that re-set your modem and do the connection test.
Keep doing connection tests until the upload is over 156 (i think)

Then load up mw2.. try to play online if it does it click into split screen and you'll notice the background (moving cloud thingy) freezes.
Go to single player then try again.. If it still wont work just keep going single player and back online. If it don't work after about 10 time's re-set your modem AGAIN and just leave it until it loads up.

Trust me its all down to BT like I said my mate and I ALWAYS had the same problem until we changed internet providers.
Everything runs good with BT until you try to go online lol.

Let me know if it helps.
