Where i'm from you have to be 16 to JOIN the army.
But, you have to be 18 to PLAY an army game.

I still don't get how an 18 year old can go to war and risk his life but can't gamble or drink (legally) until 21 in the U.S. It makes no sense that someone can GAMBLE their life and still not be given a drink (legally) for the next 3 years. 0_o

In most countries you can join the army at 16 but you will never go to the front line until you're at least 18.

But do they send you immediately into combat? I think not. The chances of you seeing actual combat within 2 years of joining the army are very slim. I'd bet a lot of money that there's a law where you're from prohibiting 16 year olds in the army from being sent into combat.

In some cases yes but my friend is on the front line and he is barely 17.

You grow up in a hurry.
If you did it go ahead and drink.
