(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I do. I've heard people say that connection isn't a problem. But when you really think about it, it does.

If you are getting chased by someone, you drop behind something pull out your AA-12 and get your sound whore on, you think you're going to get the kill, because obviously you're prepared to shoot, he has to stop aim and shoot. But somehow, even though you pull the trigger first, you don't even get a hitmarker, and he's got you dead, and he's left you screaming at the TV.

I'm sure many times, unless you pull host a lot, you've had a similar experience. You watch the kill cams, and say what the hell, that's not what happened on my screen. I know I do.

If you want to test it out, find someone who lives in a different country or somewhere far away from you to set up a private match. Go in and run at each other and knife at the same time, and see who gets the kill 95% of the time.

I think connection matters in this game more than your actual skill. Though some people are obviously good, and also have a good connection. A bad player can out shoot you if you have a worse connection than he does.

What do you guys think?

Connection plays a major role in this game. I usually pull of host and get great SnD scores all the time... And then when im not host I dont really pull off to many good games.. My Bro thats in Grade 5 is able to maintain a K/D of .90+ because we keep pulling host. And he sucks

Yeah it does, sometimes on your screen you're actually shooting and on their screen you just stand there..

When you're trying to join a match is it saying unable to connect to host? Just asking because that could be due to NAT types, and that's an easy fix if you know what you're doing.

Hosting will always be an advantage in CoD.

Until they put real dedicated servers in the games, it will always be in favor of the host, it's even more noticeable when people know how to manipulate their connection as host.

Just watch your killcams you can notice the lag. Countless times people have killed me, while I would of killed them, only if I had a better connection to the host.

I am error
So true....connection deffo plays a big role...I've often seen myself knifed & hear the clink of the blades...only to see straight after respawn that Im still trying to knife someone who's not there!!! If they could only get some real dedicated servers in place, would make a world of difference.
