I have looked over the 360 way of hacking it tons of times even tho its diff systems its the same crap somewat. I have also read unkn0wns posts about the hack and i have came up that the hack has nothing to do with decrypting and encrypting the hdd. It is all done with a usb. these are wat i have done so far and got nothing from it besides trial and error.

1. i made a dummy99.mp3 file on the usb i then made a hack running IHc. and made a .ff file and saved it to my usb i then put both in a folder and saved it to my mw2-blus and saved it there.

2. i did the samething but did not save it under mw2-blus i saved it under mw2 and got nothing

I cant figure this damn hack out i have made more progress doing it on the usb then messing with my hdd. im thinking about talking to the unkn0wn and hunter even tho they wont tell me but i may be able to get some stuff about the hack if not i will keep trying. But if u did not get anything else from this thread then listen to this STOP MESSING WITH UR HDD's it is not the right way.

O and if anyone would like to work on the hack with me i am looking for people with expierence in hacking not people that just want a hacked lobby

2 months ago it was thought by us all that ps3 modded lobbies for mw2 was also impossible, so dont out it out of the question just yet

still i say we shouldn't take it out of the picture, even though i dont think it is .someone could be able to do something spectacular with it. i have a few friends (on my friends list not in real life) who are woring on it and i will check their progress time to time if they will let me know whats happening

the reason he thinks that is cuz the fake tut going around saying to put a modded patch on a usb and install it from the usb to the game data utility which is currently IMPOSSIBLE on any existing firmware at the moment I know what I'm talking about and I never doubted the possibility of MW2 mods on PS3 what I thought was it's only a matter of time.

So is it anything to do with a modded patch? i have found a programe called red kawa file server that can transfer anything from computer or laptop over to your ps3 just like downloading. if some1 releasea a modded patch maybe it can be downloaded and installed??? speculating again....... heres my original thread You must login or register to view this content.

1. If you really think copying an audio file to the ps3 = hacking, then you are completely wrong and should just stop wasting everyone's time now. The hack that the "ihc patch maker" makes has xbox headers on it so it will not run on ps3. All you have to do is change the headers though, if you do not know how to do this, stop wasting everyone's time now.

2. The ps3 specifically searches for the blus format. If it cannot find this specific folder, nothing happens. You changing the save-game file name does nothing, please stop wasting everyone's time.

3. You probably don't have the social engineering you need to get information out of hunter/unknown, please stop wasting your time.
