The FAMAS isn't a weakened M16, it's better than the M16. And it's probably the best assault rifle in the game.

I prefer the Famas over the M16 for 2 reasons, it's a powerful gun to use and it's unlocked early. I dislike the M16A4 for 2 reasons also, it seems to shoot slower and its kind of ugly with anything but Red Dot Sight.

By "try hard" they mean that your actually trying to play the game for real?

The FAMAS is actually a stronger M16, at least in my experience. I almost always get a 1 burst kill with the FAMAS, and almost never with the M16.

Anyways, people will get mad at you for anything these days. They get mad because you're a tryhard, they get mad if you rush, they get mad if you quickscope them, they get mad if you hardscope them. Just ignore them. There's not really anything you can do

the Famas is better than the M16 but i hate both guns, i find them so annoying
so often now i get killed by the Famas in 2 shots even though its a 3 burst gun...its way overpowered & it has hardly any recoil...its easy to use and get kills with but i just hate it when people use it

guys they do the same damage just the famas has a longer distance in which it still reaches its maximum damage while the m16a4's maximum damage drops off at 37 meters.

they both do 40-30 damage, so for all you people saying the famas is stronger and for all you people saying the m16a4 is stronger, your both wrong, both of them do the same maximum and minimum damage. just the famas can keep its maximum damage for longer distances up to almost 60 meters, while the m16a4 only does its maximum damage up to 37 meters

also the m16a4 reloads overall faster. and its drop and raise time are quicker.

both have same rate of fire. both doing 460 rpm

the m16a4 raise time is 0.75, and its drop time is .5, while the famas raise time is 0.9 same with its drop time

the m16a4 reloads empty at 2.55 seconds, while the famas reloads empty at 3.6 seconds. when not empty, the m16a4 reloads at 2.0 seconds, while the famas reloads at 2.8 seconds.

both have the same multipliers. also with silencer m16a4 loses its maximum damage at 12 meters while the famas loses its at around 20 something meters

hope this information cleared things up, its all real information not my opinion, so please stop posting crap about the famas being stronger or the m16a4 being stronger

In my opinion the Famas is the better of the 2, if were talking straight stock for stock guns, the famas wins in my eyes. so it reloads slower and pulls out slower? it accuracy is amazing. And sure when you put the holo on the m16 its great, but i prefer the red dot sight anyways, so for me its the famas all day.
