Will this work for semtex also?
I mainly use Throwing Knifes because I am more of a "1337 SniiPz0oR!" another tactic for either planting or defusing the bomb is to hold your equipment. For example on ps3 (CAUSE IT'S THE BEST): hold square to defuse, then hold R2. What this does is it completely removes the bomb out of your vision and it only shows the meter and the crossshairs or the equipment.
You can also use this with a riot shield. It takes two hits and usually after the first hit they will try and run away, but with this it's alot easier to get that second hit before they have the chance.
