First PS3 - Latest with all the update's.
Second PS3 - Older firmware needed.

A USB to Sata -

a PC
PS3 HDD Studio to decrypt the HDD

Now the tut.
Back up BOTH ps3's.
use PS3 HDD Studio to decrypt the HDD.
Open up the old firmware PS3 back up and find server.cfg
Edit that and add all of the hacks.
encrypt the patch using HDD studio
Copy that data back to your new firmware PS3 using the sata cables.

Go online and test it.

Remember these are not just totally random guesses I'm actually searching around trying to find out how, Getting all the idea's then posting them for people to try and/or change some ways to see if we can get it working.

95% of the threads and posts on these challenge lobby's and hacks are complete bull. The 5% that are in fact true tend to be very brief and not very detailed. we are slowly getting closer to achieving our goal. At first the PS3 itself seemed un-hackable but its always a matter of time. This hack will eventually be released or we will work out how to do it, it's only a matter of time.

Yea this stuff always gets figured out eventually. No one knows when tho. If someone could just confirm HDD decryption working, I would do it in a heartbeat I have everything I need. But you definitely don't edit the Sever.cfg...

It's ironic that the thread says it will have the latest info on modded lobby's when there are other threads that try to do it differently. If you are going to make a thread about this, you need to have all the possible info.

Well who knows if it involves code injection....first time HSx9 did the presitige hack everyone thought it was code injection when in fact it was very easy to do but no one had thought of it...we need to try things other than the obvious cuz in 2 months when it gets figured out I bet it will have nothing to do with these "theories"

I think you are misunderstanding my argument. What I am trying to say is that if this thread is supposed to be a reference for people. It needs to have all the options that are known at the moment. I know if I was trying to get ideas, I'd rather be able to read all the possibilities.
