in the patch_mp.ff (just a guess)

open youre decrypted file in hex and find iwff.ff file thats you patch theres a tut somewhere n ps3 section ill try and find it =D gimme a sec .

ok now im not really going to get into all the details but even after u decrypt doesnt mean u finish the step u have to find the dummy file in that dummy fiela when u decrypt it thats where u going to find patchmp.ff and thats where u mod it but the thing is on 3.40 sony hides the ummy file so u wont have a chance of doing it bro sorry u need to have another ps3 with a lower firmware to get it done..but read on sniper he said he amde a mod lobbie by doing code injection and packet injection see what u can do from there if anything ill help you im a really gud hacker with c++ exprience..

Not to be a downer or anything, but people have been able to decrypt it, it's just the checksum that we don't know how to get past
