(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I play my PS3 on the wireless and the NAT type is strict, but even when I hook it up directly to the modem it's on strict, I have no clue what I should do. I've tried putting my PS3 in DMZ mode but not even that helps. Any ideas?

No i was asking if he did it right. Did you set the DMZ zone to the same as your PS3's IP. And did you set up a manual IP in the network settings.

I followed 3 tutorials to the T. Facepalm

I admit the connection got a LITTLE better but the NAT type would not change. :/

ok now try bridging your modem, call your ISP and they can do it for you over the phone.

Totally reset your wireless router manually. If that doesn't work go into it as Admin and make your PS3s I.P. trustworthy with of course UPnP

TCP Ports : 80, 443, 5223

For MW2 to work, you will need the following ports opened:
TCP Ports : 27015
UDP Ports : 1500, 3005, 3101, 28960

This should take your NAT type to moderate I believe. Open is when no connections are blocked.

/AC

Would I have to setup my static IP again and where can I change the TCP and UDP settings?

Whos Awesome?
I was having the same problem for about 6 months, tried everything that guides listed. Decided to try again recently when my slim came. Just bridged my modem and set up all the DMZ/IP/Ports on my router. Good luck.
