(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I play my PS3 on the wireless and the NAT type is strict, but even when I hook it up directly to the modem it's on strict, I have no clue what I should do. I've tried putting my PS3 in DMZ mode but not even that helps. Any ideas?

Wait...what?
Go onto your router admin set-up program, you will have installed this on your PC.

Then make sure UPnP (Universal plug and play) is enabled. This should make it moderate or open.

Unfortunately UPnP is already enabled :(

OK.

What game are you playing, or is this just for the PS3 connection in general?

COD MW2 :/

It's all I play so I don't know if it's the PS3's connection in general.

For PSN to work, you will need the following ports opened:
TCP Ports : 80, 443, 5223
UDP Ports : 3478, 3479, 3658

For MW2 to work, you will need the following ports opened:
TCP Ports : 27015
UDP Ports : 1500, 3005, 3101, 28960

This should take your NAT type to moderate I believe. Open is when no connections are blocked.

No i was asking if he did it right. Did you set the DMZ zone to the same as your PS3's IP. And did you set up a manual IP in the network settings.
