Requirements
•PlayStation 3 System with firmware v3.21 or lower
•PlayStation 3 HDD Studio v2.08
•One SATA cable
•Minor knowledge of C++ programming
•WinHex
•An extra HDD, you should not use your primary PS3 HDD for this.
Steps
1.Download and extract PS3 HDD Studio.
2.Follow the how-to tutorial included with the download (the tutorial is a text document called "How-To ReadMe")
3.Stop at step 4 (IV. DECRYPT) and follow the below steps.
4.Use a blank HDD with your PS3 to make this easier. Format the HDD.
5.Only have Co MW2 data on the drive (save game and save data). This will make modding the patch a lot easier.
6.Once you've decrypted the drive following the tutorial included in the download, look for a file called "server.cfg". This is where you will input your codes.
7.You can find codes written in C++ from this topic. You can alternatively create your own patch in a few minutes using the patch creator.
8.Once you have written your codes into the "server.cfg" file, save your changes and then encrypt your HDD (following the how-to tutorial included with PS3 HDD studio, follow step 5 [V. ENCRYPT]).
9.Insert your HDD back into your PS3 (after following the how-to from HDD Studio) and start up a private match to test your codes in a private match on Co MW2.
